If you are in danger - Dial 999

I don't want to report to the police, and would like to know what my other options are instead...

An ISVA can go through all the options you have so you can make an informed decision about what you want to do. It may be you want to know more about what would happen if you reported to the police before making a decision.

Maybe you have decided you definitely don’t want to report, but feel you want to give information anonymously to the police and be contacted if the suspect does it to anyone else and the police think you can support their investigation. This is called submitting anonymous intelligence, and an ISVA can go through this option with you and give the information to the police if this is what you choose to do.

If you do not want to report, or take any action at the moment following the incident then that’s fine –it’s important you do what is best for you at this time. An ISVA can complete a needs and risk assessment to see how else they can support you. This could be with things like your safety, home life, school/education, feelings and behaviour, mental health, and sexual health.
