If you do not want to report to the police, then that’s fine – it’s important you do what is best for you at this time.
There are other options that an ISVA can advise you on, such as, your ISVA being able to submit anonymous intelligence/information on your behalf (this can be explained to you in more detail by an ISVA). They can also offer advise on having a self-referral medical examination if the incident happened within the past 7 days.
If you feel at risk of future harm following the incident and want support to ensure you are as safe as you can be, an ISVA can give practical support, complete assessments, and refer you to other agencies that can assist with your safety.
If you need support to access a sexual health clinic, this is something an ISVA can also advise and support with.
